Pictorial View of the "Write" Moments of DCAWP Teacher Consultants

Are writing retreats valuable?
What are some of the benefits of teachers participating in a writing retreat away from their normal environment?

Of course, writing retreats are valuable. When you are able to get away with people who are of like mind with a similar purpose, you are able to leave your daily responsibilities on the "cooling board" for a while. After cleaning/clearing the cobwebs or junk from your psychie, you will then sink into writer's heaven and create that which you will later reflect on and say,"Did I write that?"
